The way points of this running / walking route:
This is a Linear Park; reclaimed railroad bed. Blacktop is paved on all but the end leading down to the point near Rte. 29. The only facilities I know of are at the parking lot. This is only the eastern section of the trail; quite extensive leading to the west. This is a Park so there are park rangers that patrol it, but I've never come upon them. This section is not traveled as much as the rest of the trail, but still enough to keep it safe. There are two tressels that crisscross the river, making for beautiful pics during the Fall.
