Search Doesn't Work

Perhaps I'm missing something but the search doesn't seem to work. I tried entering a mountain, in the US in Maine and get nothing. Then I enter United States and Maine and hikes and get hikes in Germany and other places. -

I am also not able to locate the route on the map before creating. My Routes are in Austria, but on the location is Czech republic
